QR Code Sharing
QR code sharing is the easiest and most popular way for guests to get their photos. No typing, no forms — just scan and go.
How It Works
- Guest taps the QR Code button on the share screen
- A QR code appears on the iPad screen
- Guest opens their phone camera and scans the code
- Their phone opens a browser link to the online gallery
- Guest can view, download, and share their photos

What's in the Gallery?
The gallery contains the guest's photos from their session — both the original captures and any AI-effected versions. Guests can view, download, and share directly from their phone.
Auto-Open QR
Want the QR code to pop up automatically when guests reach the share screen? Enable Auto-Open QR.
How to Enable
- Go to Settings
- Find Auto-Open QR
- Toggle it on
- Save
When enabled, the QR code appears immediately — no need for guests to tap anything.
When to Use It
Enable it when:
- QR code is your primary sharing method
- You want the fastest possible guest flow
- Running an unattended booth
Keep it off when:
- You want guests to choose their sharing method first
- Print is the primary option and QR is secondary
- Multiple sharing options are equally important
Why QR Codes Work So Well
- No friction — Guests don't need to type their email or phone number
- Instant — Scan and you're there
- Universal — Every smartphone can scan QR codes
- No setup required — QR sharing works out of the box
Tips
- Make sure the QR code is big enough — It should be easily scannable from a comfortable distance
- Good lighting helps — A bright screen in a dark venue can glare. Adjust screen brightness if needed.
- Tell guests what to do — A small sign saying "Scan to get your photos!" helps at unattended booths
- Internet is required — Both the booth (to upload) and the guest's phone (to access the gallery) need internet
