Email Sharing — Setup & Customization
Email sharing sends guests a link to their photo gallery via email. It's professional, reliable, and doubles as a lead collection tool.
Setting Up Email Sharing
- Go to Settings → Email Sharing
- Enable email sharing
- Customize your Email Subject and Email Body templates
- Save
ALIVE handles the sending — nothing to configure on the backend.
How It Works for Guests
- Guest taps Email on the share screen
- An email input field appears
- Guest enters their email address
- ALIVE sends an email with a link to their gallery
- Guest opens the email and taps the link to view their photos
The email includes a preview of their photos and a button to view the full gallery.
Customizing Your Email Templates
How to Customize
- Go to Settings → Email Sharing
- Configure your sender details and templates
- Use tokens to insert dynamic content
- Save

Tips
- Set a custom From Name — "Your Company Name" looks more professional than a generic sender
- Add a Reply-To address — If guests reply, you'll get the message at your email
- Always include {{url}} — The gallery link is the whole point
- Keep the subject short — Email subjects get truncated on mobile after ~40 characters
- Use a clear call-to-action — "View your photos" or "Download here" makes it obvious what to click
- Test on mobile — Most guests will open the email on their phone
- Check spam folders — If test emails land in spam, contact support@alive-pic.com for help
What's Next?
- Using Native Share — Let guests share via AirDrop, Messages, and more
- Managing Collected Contacts — View and export email addresses collected via email sharing
