Connect your Stripe account to ALIVE and start accepting deposits and payments directly through your proposals — no chasing invoices.
What Is Stripe Connect?
Stripe Connect is an integration that links your Stripe account to ALIVE. Once connected, you can collect payments from clients directly through the proposals you send — deposits, full payments, or milestone payments.
All money goes directly to your Stripe account. ALIVE doesn't take a cut of your payments.
What It Enables
Once Stripe is connected, you can:
- Accept deposits and full payments directly from proposals
- Get notified instantly when clients pay
- Track payment status automatically — no manual follow-up
- Offer multiple payment methods — credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Send automatic payment reminders to clients
How to Connect Stripe
- Go to the ALIVE web dashboard at photobooth.alive-pic.com
- Navigate to Integrations (in the dashboard sidebar)
- Find Stripe in the Payments section
- Click Connect
- Follow the guided onboarding steps:
- Click "Connect with Stripe"
- Complete your Stripe profile (or create a new Stripe account)
- Verify your identity if prompted
- Return to ALIVE — you're all set
Using Payments in Proposals
Once Stripe is connected, your proposals can include payment requests:
- Create or edit a Proposal in the web dashboard
- Add a payment amount (deposit, full payment, or custom amount)
- Send the proposal to your client
- Your client views the proposal and pays directly through it
- You receive the payment in your Stripe account and get notified in ALIVE
Managing Your Connection
You can manage your Stripe connection from the Integrations page:
- View status — See whether your Stripe account is active and verified
- Disconnect — Remove the Stripe connection if needed (clients won't be able to pay through proposals until you reconnect)
Troubleshooting
- "Pending" status after connecting — Stripe may need a moment to complete verification. Check back in a few minutes.
- Connection failed — Make sure you completed all required steps in Stripe's onboarding flow. Try connecting again from the Integrations page.
- Client can't pay — Verify that your Stripe account is fully verified and active. Some features require additional identity verification.
