Going Live — Starting and Pausing an Event
This is the moment. You've set up your event, picked your template, loaded your effects — now it's time to let your guests loose. Going live activates the photo booth and switches your iPad into full-screen capture mode.
How to Go Live
- Open the event you want to run
- Tap the Go Live button
- The app switches to the capture screen — your booth is now active

That's it. Guests can now step up and start taking photos.
What Happens When You Go Live?
- The screen enters full-screen capture mode — no navigation bars, no distractions
- The camera preview fills the display
- The idle screen / screen saver will show when no one is using the booth
- Guests tap the screen (or the booth auto-starts, depending on your settings) to begin a photo session
Pausing an Event
Need to take a break? Swap a backdrop? Refill the printer paper?
- Tap the back button or enter your exit password to leave the capture screen
- You'll return to the event screen
- The event is now paused — no one can take photos until you go live again
To resume, just tap Go Live again.
Tips for Going Live
- Test before you go live — Take a few test photos to make sure your template, effects, and printer are all working
- Charge your iPad — Or better yet, keep it plugged in. A dead booth mid-event is not a good look
- Lock rotation — Make sure your iPad's rotation lock is on so the screen doesn't flip when guests get creative with angles
- Set an exit password — Especially if you're not standing next to the booth the entire time
