Showcase Items

Want to impress your clients before they even book? The Effects & Templates Showcase section in proposals lets you display your best AI effects and photo templates directly inside the proposal. Clients can see exactly what their guests will experience.



What Are Showcase Items?


Showcase items are visual previews of your AI effects and photo templates that you embed into a proposal. Instead of just listing services and prices, you can show clients the actual creative output they'll get — making your proposal way more compelling.


The showcase pulls from two sources:


  • AI Effects — Both the global ALIVE effects library and your custom effects
  • Photo Templates — Templates you've designed in the template editor


Each item displays with its thumbnail image or video preview, so clients get a real feel for the quality and style.



Adding a Showcase to Your Proposal


  1. Open your proposal in the Proposal Builder
  2. Click Add Section and choose Effects & Templates
  3. The showcase section editor opens
  4. Browse and select the effects and templates you want to feature
  5. Use the search to find specific effects by name
  6. Toggle between global effects, custom effects, and templates

Choose showcase items that match the event theme. For a wedding proposal, feature romantic or elegant effects. For a corporate event, go with professional and branded templates.



How Clients See the Showcase


When clients view your proposal, the showcase section displays your selected effects and templates in a visual gallery. They can:


  • Browse through the effect thumbnails and template previews
  • See the name of each effect or template
  • Get a sense of the style and quality you'll bring to their event


This turns your proposal from a plain price list into a visual portfolio — and it's often what seals the deal.

Tips for a Great Showcase


  • Curate, don't overload — Pick 6-12 of your best items rather than dumping everything in
  • Match the event — Select effects that fit the client's event type and vibe
  • Include your custom effects — If you've created branded effects, this is the place to show them off
  • Mix effects and templates — Show both the AI magic and the polished photo layouts
