Your First Event — Quick Start Guide

Ready to run your first event? Let's get you from zero to "say cheese" in just a few minutes. Here's everything you need to do — no fluff, just the essentials.

Step 1: Create an Event

  1. From the home screen, tap the + button to create a new event
  2. Give your event a title (e.g., "Sarah & Tom's Wedding")
  3. Optionally add a subtitle and cover image
  4. Tap Create

Step 2: Choose a Template

  1. Go to the Templates tab at the bottom of the screen
  2. Tap the + button to create a new template, or browse existing ones
  3. Design your template in the editor, then tap Save & Use
  4. The template will be applied to your event

Not sure which template to pick? The default ones work great out of the box. You can always change it later.

Step 3: Select Your Effects (Optional)

  1. Go to the Effects tab at the bottom of the screen
  2. Browse the AI effects library — over 200 to choose from
  3. Select the effects you want to make available (this is a global setting — applies to all events)
  4. Guests will see your selected effects on the attraction screen with an effects slider before they take their photos

Step 4: Configure Sharing

Decide how guests will take their photos home:

  • QR Code — Guests scan and access their gallery online
  • SMS — Send a gallery link via text message
  • Email — Send a gallery link via email
  • Print — Print on the spot (if you have a printer connected)

Enable or disable each option in Settings (sharing is a global setting, not per-event).

Step 5: Go Live!

  1. Head back to your event
  2. Tap Go Live
  3. The booth is now running — guests can step up and start taking photos

That's it. Your first event is live!
