Installing the App

Getting ALIVE on your device takes about 30 seconds. That might be the easiest part of running a photobooth business.

On iPad / iPhone (iOS)

Download from the App Store

1. Open the App Store on your iPad or iPhone
2. Search for "ALIVE Photobooth"
3. Tap Get and wait for the download to complete
4. Open the app — you'll see the welcome screen

First Launch

When you open ALIVE for the first time, you'll be prompted to:

1. Grant permissions — Camera, Microphone, Photo Library, and Local Network. Tap "Allow" for each one. You'll need these for the app to work properly.
2. Sign in or create an account — If you're new, you'll create one in the next step. If you already have an account, just log in.

That's it — you're in!

Updating the App

ALIVE gets regular updates with new effects, features, and improvements. To make sure you're always on the latest version:

1. Open the App Store
2. Tap your profile icon in the top right
3. Scroll down to find ALIVE Photobooth
4. Tap Update if one is available

On Windows

Download the Windows App

1. Log in to your web dashboard at photobooth.alive-pic.com
2. Go to Resources
3. Download the Windows Desktop App installer
4. Run the installer and follow the setup wizard

First Launch

1. Open the ALIVE app from your Start menu or desktop
2. Sign in with your existing account, or create a new one
3. The app will detect your camera and you're ready to go

The Windows app includes auto-updates — when a new version is available, it updates automatically.
