Setting an Exit Password

Running an unattended booth? You'll want to set an exit password. This prevents guests from accidentally (or purposely) exiting the capture screen and messing with your settings.

Why Use an Exit Password?

Without a password, anyone can exit the booth screen by tapping the back button. That means:

• Curious guests poking around your settings
• Kids tapping random buttons (we've all been there)
• Someone accidentally closing the booth mid-event

An exit password keeps the booth locked in capture mode until you decide to exit.

How to Set an Exit Password

1. Go to Settings
2. Find the Exit Password option
3. Enter your desired password
4. Save

Now, whenever someone tries to exit the capture screen, they'll need to enter this password first.

How It Works During an Event

When the booth is live and someone taps the back button:

1. A password prompt appears on screen
2. They must enter the correct password to exit
3. Wrong password? They stay in the booth. Nice try, buddy.

Tips

• Keep it simple — Use something you can type quickly (like "1234" or "0000"). You'll be typing it yourself when you need to pause the event.
• Don't forget it — There's no "forgot password" option mid-event. Write it down if you have to.
• Tell your staff — If you have booth attendants, make sure they know the password too.
