Guest Experience — Join, Swipe & Match

Here's exactly what your guests see when they use the Singles feature — from joining to matching.

Step 1 — Join

After taking their photos at the booth, guests scan a QR code on their phone. This takes them to the Singles page for your event.

They'll be asked to:

  1. Enter their name
  2. Choose their booth photo as their profile picture
  3. Tap Join

It takes about 10 seconds. No app download, no sign-up — just a quick profile and they're in.

Step 2 — Browse & Swipe

Once they've joined, guests can browse other profiles in a swipe-style interface — just like popular dating apps:

  • Swipe right (or tap the heart) — I'm interested
  • Swipe left (or tap — Pass

Each profile shows the guest's name and their booth photo. It's simple, visual, and fun.

Step 3 — View Likes

Guests can see who has liked them by visiting the Likes page. This is where the excitement builds:

  • See a list of people who expressed interest
  • Browse their profiles
  • Decide if the feeling is mutual

Step 4 — Match!

When two guests like each other, it's a match! Both guests are notified and can view each other's profiles.

This is the moment that makes Singles memorable — that shared "we matched!" reaction at a live event is way more fun than a notification on a dating app.

The Full Flow

Take photos at booth → Scan QR code → Create profile →
Browse & swipe → See likes → Match with someone → Connect in person!

What Guests Love About It

  • No app download — Everything runs in the browser on their phone
  • Fast setup — Profile creation takes seconds
  • Live and in-person — Matches happen at the event, not days later
  • Fun and low-pressure — It's a party game, not a commitment

Tips for Booth Operators

  • Encourage guests to join early — The more profiles, the more fun the swiping is
  • Place QR codes where guests can see them — At the booth, on tables, near the bar
  • Let the host announce it — A quick shout-out from the DJ or host gets people excited

The best Singles events are the ones where guests are buzzing about it. Get the word out early and let the feature do the rest.
