Device & Seat Management
Running multiple booths? The dashboard lets you manage all your devices and seat licenses from one place.
Viewing Your Devices
- Go to Dashboard → Devices
- See all registered devices with their UID and registration date
- View your total device count
How Seats Work
Every ALIVE subscription comes with a number of seats — each seat allows one device to run the app. Need more devices? Add more seats.
- 1 seat = 1 device
- Seats are tied to your subscription billing cycle (monthly or yearly)
- Each additional seat has its own pricing
Adding a New Seat
- Go to Devices in the dashboard
- Click Add Seat or Upgrade
- Review the pricing per additional seat
- Confirm and pay
The new seat is available immediately — register your next device and you're good to go.
Revoking a Device
If you need to free up a seat (replacing a device, retiring an iPad, etc.):
- Go to Devices
- Find the device you want to remove
- Click Revoke
The seat becomes available for a new device.
Onboarding New Devices
When you add a new device, the dashboard offers an onboarding wizard with tutorial cards to help you get the new iPad set up quickly.
Tips
- Plan your seats ahead — If you know a busy season is coming with multiple simultaneous events, add seats in advance
- Revoke unused devices — Don't pay for seats you're not using
- Label your devices — Give each iPad a clear name so you can tell them apart in the dashboard
