Design Elements Library

ALIVE gives you access to a library of design elements — graphics, illustrations, shapes, icons, and more — so you can build stunning templates without ever leaving the editor.

What's in the Library

The design elements library includes:

  • Illustrations — Hand-drawn and vector art for every occasion
  • Icons — Clean, scalable icons for social media, contact info, arrows, and more
  • Shapes — Circles, rectangles, lines, dividers, and decorative frames
  • Stickers & Graphics — Fun, event-ready graphics like hearts, stars, confetti, and party themes

Browsing Elements

  1. Open a template in the Template Editor on the web dashboard
  2. Click the Elements tab in the sidebar
  3. Browse available element categories or scroll through popular picks

Searching for Elements

Looking for something specific? Use the search bar at the top of the elements panel:

  • Type keywords like "wedding," "birthday," "floral," or "gold frame"
  • Results update in real time as you type
  • Filter by category to narrow things down

Adding Elements to Your Template

  1. Find an element you like in the library
  2. Click or tap on it to add it to your canvas
  3. Drag to reposition it on the template
  4. Resize by pulling the corner handles
  5. Rotate to any angle using the rotation handle
  6. Use the Layers tab to adjust stacking order if elements overlap

Elements are added at full resolution, so they'll look crisp even on high-DPI printed templates.

Categories

The library is organized into categories to help you find what you need fast:

  • Wedding — Rings, florals, monograms, elegant frames
  • Birthday — Balloons, cake, party hats, confetti
  • Corporate — Clean borders, professional icons, minimalist shapes
  • Holiday — Seasonal graphics for Christmas, Halloween, New Year, and more
  • Abstract — Geometric shapes, gradients, and artistic patterns
  • Borders & Frames — Decorative edges and photo frames

Tips

  • Keep it clean — A few well-placed elements look better than a cluttered design
  • Match the style — Stick to one visual style (e.g., all watercolor or all geometric) for a cohesive look
  • Layer strategically — Place decorative elements behind photo slots so they frame the photos nicely
  • Check print quality — Always preview your template at full resolution before printing
