Using the Template Editor

The template editor is where you go from "good enough" to "this is exactly what I want." It's a full visual editor that lets you design custom photo layouts with precision.

Opening the Editor

  1. Go to your Templates section
  2. Create a new template or duplicate an existing one
  3. The editor opens with a visual canvas

The Editor Interface

The editor gives you a visual canvas where you can:

  • Drag and drop elements to position them
  • Resize elements by dragging corners
  • Rotate elements to any angle
  • Layer elements on top of each other

The editor is fully responsive and works on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. You can design and edit templates from your phone on the go — perfect for last-minute adjustments before an event.

What You Can Add

Photo Slots

The most important element. Slots are where guest photos will be placed. You can:

  • Add multiple slots for multi-photo layouts
  • Choose rectangle or circle shapes
  • Set how photos fit (cover, contain, fill)
  • Add borders or strokes

Text

Add any text to your template:

  • Event titles and dates
  • Client branding
  • Fun taglines ("Say Cheese!", "We Got Married!", etc.)
  • Your business contact info

Images

Drop in logos, graphics, decorations, or background images:

  • Client logos
  • Event-specific graphics
  • Decorative borders and corners
  • Full background images

Canvas Settings

Before you start designing, set your canvas:

  • Size — Match your print size (2x6, 4x6, 6x4)
  • DPI — Resolution for printing (300 DPI is standard)
  • Background — Solid color or image

Saving Your Template

Tap Save when you're done. Your template is now available to select for any event.

The editor auto-saves as you work, but always tap Save when you're finished to make sure everything is captured.

Tips

  • Start simple — A clean template with good spacing always looks better than a cluttered one
  • Use high-res images — Low-res logos and backgrounds look terrible when printed
  • Preview with real photos — Test your template with actual captured photos to see how it looks
