Key Features of Built-in Templates

Every built-in template includes:

  • Pre-configured photo slots — Already sized and positioned for optimal results
  • Print-ready specifications — Correct DPI and dimensions for professional printing
  • Clean design — Minimal, versatile designs that work for any event type

How to Use Them

  1. Go to the Templates tab at the bottom of the screen
  2. Browse the built-in options
  3. Tap to preview, then select

That's it. The template is now active. Templates are a global setting — your selection applies to all events.

Can I Customize Built-in Templates?

Yes! You can duplicate any built-in template and customize the copy. This is a great way to start with a proven layout and add your own branding, colors, or text.

See Duplicating and Editing Built-in Templates for details.

Tips for Choosing

  • Match the paper — Make sure the template size matches your printer's paper size
  • Consider photo count — More slots means more photos per session, which takes more time
  • Think about your audience — Strips are nostalgic and fun. Cards feel more premium. Single photos are clean and modern.

If you're just starting out, pick a classic 2x6 strip template. It's the most recognized photo booth format and guests love taking them home.
