Adding a New Device Seat
Got a new iPad? Here's how to add it to your ALIVE account.
How to Add a Seat
- Go to the web dashboard at photobooth.alive-pic.com/dashboard
- Navigate to your subscription
- Add a new device seat
- Confirm the additional billing (prorated for the current period)
- The new seat is activated immediately
Setting Up the New Device
- Install ALIVE Photobooth on the new iPad
- Sign in with your existing account credentials
- The device registers automatically and uses the new seat
- Your events, templates, and effects sync to the new device
Prorated Billing
When you add a seat mid-billing cycle, you're only charged for the remaining days in the current period. At the next renewal, the full seat price is included.
Example: If you add a seat 15 days into a monthly cycle, you pay roughly half the monthly rate for that first period.
Managing Multiple Devices
With multiple seats, you can:
- Run simultaneous booths at the same event
- Send different iPads to different events on the same day
- Have a backup device ready to go
Tips
- Test the new device — Sign in, sync, and run a test event before bringing it to a live event
- Name each device — Use Device Name to label each iPad so you can tell them apart
- Plan ahead — Add seats before you need them, not at the event venue while guests are waiting
