How Sharing Works in ALIVE

After guests take their photos, the share screen is where they decide how to take them home. ALIVE offers multiple sharing channels so guests can pick whatever works best for them.

The Share Screen

After the photo capture (and optional AI effect), guests land on the share screen. This is where they see their final photos in the template layout and choose how to share.

Available Sharing Methods

  • QR Code — Guests scan a QR code with their phone to access their photos in an online gallery
  • SMS — A gallery link is sent to the guest's phone via text message
  • Email — A gallery link is sent to the guest's email address
  • Print — Photos are printed on the spot using a connected printer
  • Native Share — Access the device's native share sheet (AirDrop, Messages, and more)

How It Flows

  1. Guest takes photos (having chosen an optional AI effect on the attraction screen beforehand)
  2. The final result (with effect applied, if selected) is displayed
  3. Guest lands on the share screen
  4. Guest taps their preferred sharing method
  5. The action completes (QR displayed, SMS sent, print queued, etc.)
  6. Booth resets for the next guest

Which Methods to Enable?

You control which sharing options appear on the share screen. Enable only the ones that make sense for your event:

  • Corporate event? QR + Email
  • Wedding? QR + Print + SMS
  • Kids' party? Print only (kids don't have phones)
  • Quick popup? QR only (fastest throughput)

Native Share is always available alongside whatever options you enable — no setup needed.

See Configuring Share Options to set this up.

All captured photos are uploaded to the cloud gallery automatically (when connected to the internet). This means guests can access their photos later — even if they skip the share screen entirely.

The share screen is the guest's last interaction with the booth. Keep it simple. The fewer options, the faster guests move through.
