How Push Notifications Work

ALIVE sends push notifications to keep you informed about important updates, new features, and account activity.



What You'll Receive


  • New effects — Get notified when new AI effects are added to the library
  • Feature updates — Learn about new app features and improvements
  • Account alerts — Subscription reminders, credit balance warnings
  • Tips and announcements — Helpful tips for running better events



Enabling Notifications


  1. When you first open ALIVE, you'll be asked to allow notifications
  2. Tap Allow
  3. Notifications are now active


If you missed the prompt:


  1. Go to iPad Settings → Notifications
  2. Find ALIVE Photobooth
  3. Enable Allow Notifications



Viewing Your Notification Inbox


ALIVE has a built-in notification inbox where you can read all past notifications:


  1. Look for the notification bell icon in the app
  2. Tap to view your notification history
  3. Unread notifications are highlighted

Managing Notifications


  • Notifications are non-intrusive — they won't interrupt an active booth session
  • You can disable notifications in your iPad's notification settings if you prefer silence


We keep notifications relevant and minimal. No spam, no daily "hey just checking in" messages. Just useful updates when they matter.
