App Won't Start or Crashes
ALIVE acting up? Here are the most common fixes.
Quick Fixes
1. Force Close and Reopen
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-tap the Home button)
- Find ALIVE in the app switcher
- Swipe it up to close
- Open ALIVE again
2. Restart Your iPad
- Hold the power button (and volume button on newer iPads)
- Slide to power off
- Wait 10 seconds
- Turn it back on
3. Check for Updates
- Open the App Store
- Tap your profile icon
- Check if ALIVE has an update available
- Install the update
4. Check Storage
If your iPad is running low on storage, apps can crash.
- Go to iPad Settings → General → iPad Storage
- Check available space
- Free up space by removing unused apps or old photos
Still Crashing?
- Delete and reinstall the app (your data is saved in the cloud — sign back in after reinstalling)
- Check iOS version — ALIVE requires iOS 14.5 or later. Update your iPad if needed.
- Contact support — If nothing works, reach out at support@alive-pic.com with your Device ID and a description of the issue
