DSLR Camera Integration

Coming Very Soon! — DSLR camera integration is currently in active development and will be available in an upcoming update.

What's Coming

ALIVE will soon support connecting external DSLR cameras, giving you professional-grade photo quality straight from the booth. Instead of relying solely on the iPad camera, you'll be able to tether a dedicated camera and control it directly through the app.

Why DSLR?

The iPad camera is solid for most setups, but a DSLR takes your output to another level:

For operators who print large-format photos, serve high-end clients, or want that unmistakable DSLR look — this is a game-changer.

Planned Features

  • Camera tethering — Connect your DSLR directly to the iPad running ALIVE
  • Live preview — See the DSLR's live feed on the iPad screen so guests can frame themselves
  • Remote shutter control — Trigger the camera shutter from the app, keeping the booth experience seamless
  • Full resolution capture — Use the camera's native resolution for maximum quality

Stay Updated

DSLR integration is actively being built. To stay in the loop:

  • Check for app updates — When it lands, it'll be part of a regular ALIVE update on the App Store
  • Contact support — Reach out to support@alive-pic.com for the latest timeline and early access opportunities

If DSLR support is critical for your business, let the team know at support@alive-pic.com. Feedback from operators helps shape the priority and feature set.
