Auto-Apply AI Effect

Don't want guests to have to pick an effect themselves? The Auto-Apply AI setting controls whether the AI effect is applied automatically after the photo is taken, or if the guest needs to manually press a button to generate it.

What It Does

When enabled, the AI effect is automatically applied to the photo right after capture — no extra tapping required. When disabled (manual mode), the guest needs to press a button to generate the effect, which makes retrying easier since they can simply press the button again.

  • Default: Disabled

How to Enable

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find the AI section
  3. Toggle Auto-Apply AI on
  4. Save

When to Use Auto-Apply

Great for:

  • Events where you want every guest to get AI-styled photos
  • Themed events with a single "must-have" effect
  • Speed-focused setups where you want to minimize guest interaction time
  • Unattended booths where simplicity matters

Not ideal for:

  • Events where guests want to choose their own effect
  • When you're offering multiple effects and want guests to browse

Which Effect Gets Applied?

When auto-apply is enabled, the effect applied depends on your global effect selection. If you have multiple effects configured, the system selects from your curated list.

For the most predictable results with auto-apply, select just one or two effects. This way, every guest gets a consistent experience.

Can Guests Change the Effect?

Max AI Tries is currently fixed at 1, so if auto-apply uses that try, the guest will keep the auto-applied effect. Configurable Max AI Tries is coming soon, which will allow guests to switch to a different effect after the auto-applied one.
