Setting Up Email Sharing

Email sharing sends guests a link to their photo gallery via email. It's professional, reliable, and doubles as a lead collection tool.



How It Works


Email sharing is powered by ALIVE's server — there's nothing to configure on the backend. Just enable it and customize your settings.



Configuring in ALIVE


  1. Go to SettingsEmail Sharing
  2. Enable email sharing
  3. Customize your Email Subject template
  4. Customize your Email Body template — you can include your name and the gallery link inside the message
  5. Save

How It Works for Guests


  1. Guest taps Email on the share screen
  2. An email input field appears
  3. Guest enters their email address
  4. ALIVE sends an email with a link to their gallery
  5. Guest opens the email and taps the link to view their photos



What Happens After a Guest Enters Their Email


After entering their email, the guest receives an email with a link to their photo gallery within a few seconds. The email includes a preview of their photos and a button to view the full gallery.



Tips


  • Test before events — Send yourself a test email to check formatting and delivery
  • Customize your templates — A branded email subject and body make a more professional impression
  • Check spam folders — If test emails land in spam, contact support@alive-pic.com for help
