Customizing SMS Message Templates

The default SMS message works fine, but customizing it adds a personal touch — and helps with branding.

What You Can Customize

  • Message Template — The actual text content of the SMS. You can include your name, event name, and the gallery link inside the message body

How to Customize

  1. Go to SettingsSMS Sharing
  2. Find the Message Template section
  3. Edit the template text
  4. Use tokens to insert dynamic content
  5. Save

Available Tokens

Tokens are placeholders that get replaced with real values when the SMS is sent:

Tips

  • Keep it short — SMS has character limits. Get to the point.
  • Always include {{url}} — Without the link, the SMS is useless.
  • Test your template — Send a test to yourself to see how it reads on a phone.
  • Don't use too many emojis — Some carriers handle them differently. Keep it clean.

The message template applies to all events. If you need event-specific messages, update the template before each event.
