Configuring ALIVE Video Settings

The ALIVE Effect has a few settings you can tweak to get the perfect balance of speed and quality for your events.

Available Settings

Recording Duration

How long the ALIVE video records after the photo capture.

  • Default: 2 seconds
  • Range: 1–10 seconds

A shorter duration means a snappier video and faster guest flow. A longer one gives a more cinematic result.

Auto-Start

When enabled, the ALIVE Effect recording starts automatically after the last photo is captured — no guest interaction needed.

  • Default: Disabled

When disabled, guests need to manually trigger the recording.

Auto-Capture

Works in combination with auto-start. When both are enabled, the entire ALIVE video process is hands-free.

  • Default: Disabled

Delay Before Start

The pause between the last photo and when the ALIVE video recording begins. Gives guests a moment to hold their pose.

  • Default: 2 seconds

How to Configure

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find the ALIVE Video section
  3. Adjust the settings to your preference
  4. Save

Scenario

Duration

Auto-Start

Delay

High-traffic event

2 seconds

ON

1 second

Premium experience

3 seconds

ON

2 seconds

Attended booth

3 seconds

OFF

2 seconds

Tips

  • Keep auto-start ON for unattended booths — Guests shouldn't have to figure out how to start the video
  • Shorter is better for busy events — 2 seconds is plenty for a shareable clip
  • Test the delay — If guests look confused between the photo and video, add an extra second of delay

The ALIVE Effect is available on both Basic and Pro plans. If you don't see these settings, check that your subscription is active.
