Customizing Email Templates

Make your photo delivery emails match your brand. ALIVE lets you customize both the subject line and the body of the email sent to guests.



What You Can Customize


  • Subject Line — What appears in the email subject
  • Body — The main content of the email (you can include your name and the gallery link inside the message)



How to Customize


  1. Go to Settings → Email Sharing
  2. Edit the Subject Template and Body Template
  3. Use tokens to insert dynamic content
  4. Save

Tips


  • Keep the subject short — Email subjects get truncated on mobile after ~40 characters
  • Always include {{url}} — The gallery link is the whole point of the email
  • Use a clear call-to-action — "View your photos" or "Download here" makes it obvious what to click
  • Test on mobile — Most guests will open the email on their phone. Make sure it looks good on a small screen.
  • Don't overthink it — A simple, clean email beats a fancy, cluttered one


Email templates apply globally. If you want event-specific messaging, update the template before each event.
