SMS or Email Not Sending
Guests entered their info but didn't receive anything? Here's how to diagnose the issue.
SMS Not Sending
Check the Basics
- Internet connection — Your iPad must be connected to the internet for SMS to work
- SMS sharing enabled — Make sure SMS sharing is turned on in Settings
Check the Phone Number
- Phone numbers must be in a valid format
- International numbers need the country code
- Verify the guest entered their number correctly
Email Not Sending
Check the Basics
- Internet connection — Your iPad must be connected to the internet for email to work
- Email sharing enabled — Make sure email sharing is turned on in Settings
Check Spam
- Ask the guest to check their spam/junk folder
- Email deliverability can be affected by the recipient's email provider
Check the Email Address
- Verify the guest entered a valid email address
- Typos in email addresses are very common
General Troubleshooting
- Check internet connection — SMS and email require connectivity
- Verify sharing is enabled — Check that SMS or email sharing is turned on in Settings
- Send a test — Send a test message to yourself to verify the setup works
- Check phone/email format — Make sure the guest entered a valid phone number or email address

Prevention
- Test before every event — Send a test SMS and email to yourself
- Have a backup — If SMS/email aren't working, QR code sharing always works as a fallback
