Setting Max Prints and Copies
Paper and ink aren't free. These settings help you control costs and prevent one enthusiastic guest from printing 50 copies.
Max Prints per Session
This limits the total number of print jobs allowed per guest session — meaning each individual guest can print up to this many times during their turn at the booth.
- Default: 20
- What it means: Each guest can print up to 20 times in their session. Once they hit the limit, no more prints can be queued for that guest.
How to Set
- Go to Settings → Printing
- Adjust Max Prints
- Save
Copies per Print
This controls how many copies are printed each time a guest taps Print (or when auto-print triggers).
- Default: 1
How to Set
- Go to Settings → Printing
- Adjust Auto-Print Default Copies
- Save
Duplicate Strip Mode
A special setting for 2x6 strip templates. When enabled, two identical strips are printed side-by-side on a single 4x6 sheet of paper. One cut down the middle gives you two strips.
- Perfect for: Couples, pairs, or giving guests a copy to keep and one to give away
- Saves paper: Two strips on one sheet instead of two separate prints
How to Enable
- Go to Settings → Printing
- Toggle Duplicate Strip on
- Save
Cost Management Tips
Setting | Budget-Friendly | Premium |
|---|---|---|
Max Prints | 10–15 | 30+ |
Copies per Print | 1 | 2 |
Duplicate Strip | On (saves paper) | On (guests love two strips) |
Tips
- Estimate your paper needs — 200 guests × 1 print each = 200 sheets minimum. Always bring extra.
- Communicate with clients — Some clients want unlimited prints. Others want to cap it. Set expectations early.
- Duplicate strips are a crowd pleaser — Guests always want one for themselves and one for a friend.
