# Installing the App

Getting ALIVE on your device takes about 30 seconds. That might be the easiest part of running a photobooth business.

## On iPad / iPhone (iOS)

### Download from the App Store

1. Open the **App Store** on your iPad or iPhone
2. Search for **"ALIVE Photobooth"**
3. Tap **Get** and wait for the download to complete
4. Open the app — you'll see the welcome screen

| Make sure you're downloading the official **ALIVE Photobooth** app by checking the developer name.

### First Launch

When you open ALIVE for the first time, you'll be prompted to:

1. **Grant permissions** — Camera, Microphone, Photo Library, and Local Network. Tap "Allow" for each one. You'll need these for the app to work properly.
2. **Sign in or create an account** — If you're new, you'll create one in the next step. If you already have an account, just log in.

That's it — you're in!

### Updating the App

ALIVE gets regular updates with new effects, features, and improvements. To make sure you're always on the latest version:

1. Open the **App Store**
2. Tap your **profile icon** in the top right
3. Scroll down to find **ALIVE Photobooth**
4. Tap **Update** if one is available

|| We recommend turning on **automatic updates** so you never miss new AI effects or features. Go to Settings > App Store > App Updates on your iPad.
