# Device & Seat Management

Running multiple booths? The dashboard lets you manage all your devices and seat licenses from one place.

---

## Viewing Your Devices

1. Go to **Dashboard** → **Devices**
2. See all registered devices with their **UID** and **registration date**
3. View your total device count

---

## How Seats Work

Every ALIVE subscription comes with a number of **seats** — each seat allows one device to run the app. Need more devices? Add more seats.

* **1 seat = 1 device**
* Seats are tied to your subscription billing cycle (monthly or yearly)
* Each additional seat has its own pricing

---

## Adding a New Seat

1. Go to **Devices** in the dashboard
2. Click **Add Seat** or **Upgrade**
3. Review the pricing per additional seat
4. Confirm and pay

The new seat is available immediately — register your next device and you're good to go.

---

## Revoking a Device

If you need to free up a seat (replacing a device, retiring an iPad, etc.):

1. Go to **Devices**
2. Find the device you want to remove
3. Click **Revoke**

The seat becomes available for a new device.

---

## Onboarding New Devices

When you add a new device, the dashboard offers an onboarding wizard with tutorial cards to help you get the new iPad set up quickly.

---

## Tips

* **Plan your seats ahead** — If you know a busy season is coming with multiple simultaneous events, add seats in advance
* **Revoke unused devices** — Don't pay for seats you're not using
* **Label your devices** — Give each iPad a clear name so you can tell them apart in the dashboard
