# What is the ALIVE Effect?

The ALIVE Effect is our signature feature — and honestly, it's the reason a lot of booth operators choose ALIVE over everything else. It's the "wow" moment that makes guests pull out their phones and share immediately.

## So What Does It Do?

After a guest takes their photo, the ALIVE Effect captures a short **AR-powered video** that animates the photo. The result is a living, breathing version of the still image — think of a photo that comes to life, like something out of a Harry Potter movie.

The guest gets both:

* A **still photo** — The classic booth photo with your template
* An **animated video** — A short clip that brings the photo to life

## How It Works (The Guest Experience)

1. Guest takes their photo(s) as usual
2. After the last photo, the ALIVE Effect kicks in
3. A short video is recorded (2 seconds by default)
4. On the share screen, guests can preview and share both the photo and the animated video

The magic doesn't stop at the booth. With the free **ALIVE Guest App**, guests can point their phone at any ALIVE printed photo and watch it come to life in augmented reality — anytime, anywhere.

* No QR code needed — the app recognizes the photo automatically
