# QR Code Sharing

QR code sharing is the easiest and most popular way for guests to get their photos. No typing, no forms — just scan and go.

---

## How It Works

1. Guest taps the **QR Code** button on the share screen
2. A QR code appears on the iPad screen
3. Guest opens their phone camera and scans the code
4. Their phone opens a browser link to the **online gallery**
5. Guest can view, download, and share their photos

## What's in the Gallery?

The gallery contains the guest's photos from their session — both the original captures and any AI-effected versions. Guests can view, download, and share directly from their phone.

---

## Auto-Open QR

Want the QR code to pop up automatically when guests reach the share screen? Enable **Auto-Open QR**.

### How to Enable

1. Go to **Settings**
2. Find **Auto-Open QR**
3. Toggle it on
4. Save

When enabled, the QR code appears immediately — no need for guests to tap anything.

### When to Use It

**Enable it when:**

* QR code is your primary sharing method
* You want the fastest possible guest flow
* Running an unattended booth

**Keep it off when:**

* You want guests to choose their sharing method first
* Print is the primary option and QR is secondary
* Multiple sharing options are equally important

| Auto-open saves one tap per guest. Over 200 guests, that adds up — and keeps the line moving.

---

## Why QR Codes Work So Well

* **No friction** — Guests don't need to type their email or phone number
* **Instant** — Scan and you're there
* **Universal** — Every smartphone can scan QR codes
* **No setup required** — QR sharing works out of the box

---

## Tips

* **Make sure the QR code is big enough** — It should be easily scannable from a comfortable distance
* **Good lighting helps** — A bright screen in a dark venue can glare. Adjust screen brightness if needed.
* **Tell guests what to do** — A small sign saying "Scan to get your photos!" helps at unattended booths
* **Internet is required** — Both the booth (to upload) and the guest's phone (to access the gallery) need internet

| QR sharing is the recommended default for all events. It's fast, requires no setup, and guests are used to scanning QR codes for everything these days.
