# PDF Export and Sharing

Need a polished document to send via email or keep for your records? ALIVE lets you export any proposal as a professionally formatted PDF — complete with your branding, services, pricing, signature, and even questionnaire responses.

## Generating a PDF

1. Open the proposal you want to export from the **Proposals** dashboard
2. Click the **Download PDF** button
3. The PDF is generated on the server and downloaded to your device automatically

The PDF includes everything from your proposal:

- Your **business name**, **logo**, and **branding colors**
- **Client** and **event** details
- All **services** with pricing
- **Pricing summary** with any discounts applied
- **Terms and conditions**
- **Signature** (if the proposal has been signed), including the signer's name and timestamp
- **Questionnaire responses** (if any were submitted)

## Sharing Your Proposal

There are two main ways to share a proposal with your client:

### Share via Link

Every proposal has a **unique shareable link**. You can copy it and send it through any channel — email, WhatsApp, text message, or however you communicate with your clients.

1. From the proposals list, click the **share icon** on any proposal
2. The link is copied to your clipboard
3. Paste it wherever you'd like to send it

### Share the PDF

If your client prefers a static document:

1. Generate the PDF as described above
2. Attach it to an email or message
3. The client can review it offline

| The shareable link is the recommended method — it lets clients sign digitally, fill out questionnaires, and make payments directly. The PDF is best for record-keeping.

## What's Included in the PDF

The PDF is a complete snapshot of the proposal at the time of export:

- **Booking details** — Event title, date, and location (if linked to a booking)
- **Client info** — Name and email
- **Services breakdown** — Each item with description and price
- **Subtotal, discounts, and total**
- **Digital signature** — The drawn signature image, signer name, and sign date
- **Questionnaire responses** — All answers organized by question, with respondent info and completion time
