# Gallery Overview — Viewing Captured Photos and Videos

Every photo and video captured in ALIVE is stored in your gallery. It's your central hub for reviewing, managing, and sharing all the media from your events.

---

## Accessing the Gallery

To access the gallery, open a specific event and tap the **Gallery** section inside it. Each event has its own gallery with all the photos and videos captured during that event.

---

## How the Gallery Is Organized

Media is organized by **event** and **session**. Each guest session (one round of photos) is grouped together, making it easy to find specific captures. For a full breakdown of how sessions work — including re-running effects on past sessions — see [Understanding Sessions](/09-gallery-and-media/09-understanding-sessions).

Each event has its own gallery. Open an event to browse all the photos and videos captured during that event.

---

## What's in the Gallery?

* **Photos** — All captured photos from booth sessions
* **AI-effected photos** — Transformed versions with AI effects applied
* **ALIVE videos** — Animated videos from the ALIVE Effect

---

## Find My Photos

The gallery includes a **Find My Photos** feature that helps guests quickly locate their own photos from a large event gallery. Instead of scrolling through hundreds of photos, guests can use this to jump straight to their session.

This feature can be enabled per-event via the **web dashboard** → **Remote Setup** → **Gallery** section.

---

## Gallery Actions

From the gallery, you can:

* **View** — Tap any photo to see it full-screen
* **Download** — Save individual photos to your device's photo library
* **Bulk download** — Download all photos from an event at once
* **Delete** — Remove photos you don't need
* **Share** — Share individual photos using native share

---

## Cloud Sync

When connected to the internet, your gallery syncs to **secure cloud storage**. This means:

* Photos are backed up automatically
* You can access them from other devices logged into the same account
* Gallery links shared via QR, SMS, or email point to the cloud gallery
* Photos and gallery links are stored in the cloud for at least **2 years**. See [Gallery Link Expiration](/en/article/gallery-link-expiration-and-photo-storage-ujokme) for details.

|| Cloud sync requires an internet connection. If you're offline during an event, photos are stored locally on the device only. They will not automatically sync to the cloud later.

## Gallery Branding (Pro)

On the **Pro plan**, you can customize how your gallery looks when guests access it:

* **Custom logo** — Display your business logo on the gallery page
* **Brand colors** — Set a custom accent color that matches your brand
* **Gallery title & subtitle** — Add custom text to the gallery page
* **Template-only mode** — Show only the polished template versions, not raw photos
* **Slideshow settings** — Control the slideshow speed and showcase animation

These settings are configured from the **web dashboard** under **Settings** → **Gallery** and **Settings** → **Branding**. See [Gallery Settings & Branding](/en/article/gallery-settings-branding-pro-vxaa5j) for the full walkthrough.
