# Creating Proposals

Proposals are how you present your services, pricing, and brand to potential clients. ALIVE lets you build professional, branded proposals directly from your dashboard — complete with service packages, effects showcases, terms and conditions, and more.

## Accessing Proposals

1. Log in to your **web dashboard**
2. Navigate to **Proposals** from the sidebar
3. You'll see all your existing proposals with their current status

Each proposal card shows the **title**, **client name**, **status** (Draft, Sent, Viewed, Signed, or Declined), **payment status**, and the **total amount**.

## Creating a New Proposal

1. Click the **+ New Proposal** button
2. Choose a **theme** — dark or light mode for the client-facing view
3. You'll be guided through a setup wizard:
   - **Title** — Give your proposal a name (e.g., "Johnson Wedding Photobooth Package")
   - **Client** — Select an existing client or create a new one
   - **Event** — Link to an existing event or create one
   - **Currency** — Choose between USD ($) or ILS (₪)
   - **Valid Until** — Set an expiration date

| You get 3 free proposals. After that, a Pro plan is required to create unlimited proposals.

## Building Your Proposal

The proposal builder uses a **section-based** approach. You can add, remove, reorder, and customize these sections:

- **Introduction** — Welcome text and event overview
- **Services** — Your packages and pricing pulled from the catalog
- **Effects & Templates** — Showcase your AI effects and photo templates
- **Terms & Conditions** — Legal terms and event policies
- **Custom Section** — Any additional content you need

For the **Services** section, you can pull items directly from your **Service Catalog** or add one-off items. You can also make items **client-selectable** so clients can choose their own add-ons, with either single or multi-select modes.

## Pricing and Discounts

The **Pricing Summary** section automatically calculates totals based on your services. You can also apply:

- **Fixed discounts** — A flat dollar/shekel amount off the total
- **Percentage discounts** — A percentage off the subtotal
- **Deposit requirements** — Require a deposit amount before confirming

## Branding Your Proposal

Every proposal carries your brand. The branding settings let you customize:

- **Business name** and **logo**
- **Profile picture**
- **Accent color**, **background color**, and **text color**
- **Font family**

These settings ensure every proposal you send looks consistent and professional.

## Sending to Clients

Once your proposal is ready:

1. Click **Send** to change the status from Draft to Sent
2. Share the unique proposal link with your client
3. Track when they **view** it, **sign** it, or **decline** it

The proposal status updates automatically as clients interact with it.
