Before you dive in, let's make sure your setup is ready to roll. ALIVE Photobooth runs on iOS (iPad and iPhone) and Windows.

Supported Devices

iPad (Recommended for Events)

OS: iOS 14.5 or later
Storage: At least 500MB free space (more is better — photos and videos add up fast)
Camera: Built-in front or rear camera, or external DSLR
Network: Wi-Fi connection required for cloud features, AI effects, and sharing

iPhone

ALIVE works on iPhone too, though iPad is recommended for the larger screen — your guests will thank you.

Windows PC

OS: Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
RAM: 8 GB minimum, 16 GB recommended
Storage: 500 MB for the app, plus space for photos

So What Does It Do?

After a guest takes their photo, the ALIVE Effect captures a short AR-powered video that animates the photo. The result is a living, breathing version of the still image — think of a photo that comes to life, like something out of a Harry Potter movie.

The guest gets both:

A still photo — The classic booth photo with your template
An animated video — A short clip that brings the photo to life

AI Credits — Pay-As-You-Go Pricing

No monthly caps. No "you've run out of effects this month." With ALIVE, AI effects are billed on a simple pay-as-you-go model — you pay per use, and that's it.

How It Works

Every time a guest applies an AI effect, it costs credits from your account balance. Different effect types have different credit costs.

Transforming one guest photo into a Disney Pixar 3D style costs about 15 cents. A green screen background swap is just 5 cents.

25% off video effects — AI video effects are discounted too

These discounts apply automatically — no coupon needed. If you run a lot of effects, the Pro plan discount can pay for itself in a single event.
